Welcome! I’m Dr. Parivash Akhavan Sanders, a family medicine physician in California, originally from the beautiful deserts and mountains of Phoenix, Arizona. I provide “birth to earth” primary care, which includes all ages from newborns to seniors. I completed my residency at University of Arizona South Campus and am board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

I’m also the co-founder of FMStudent.com (a website committed to providing resources and support to third and fourth year medical students interested in pursuing Family Medicine) and FMResident.com (a similar website, focused on residency life and the survival of it), along with Dr. Farrah Fong. We are both DOs. I read science fiction, enjoy yoga at home, attempt to bake and enjoy art/crafting hobbies.

We are a community, and I want all of us to be safe. Please get vaccinated, and continue to use high quality masks as appropriate during high transmission periods for influenza or COVID.
